MEET FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Claudia Caruso
My passion for fashion began when I was young, painting, crafting, and turning anything I could find into something new. By the time I was 10, I was cutting up my dad’s old shirts to make clothes for my dolls and sewing garments from remnant fabrics. I didn’t know it then, but I had already fallen in love with the magic of turning an idea into something you can wear. I fell in love with making art out of fabric.
I went on to study Fashion Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, focusing on special occasion and bridal wear. After graduating and spending two years working in corporate fashion, I took a leap of faith when my childhood best friend asked me to design her wedding dress. Creating something so personal for someone I loved completely changed the way I saw fashion, and ultimately inspired me to start my own brand.
Today, Claudia Rose Caruso is rooted in the idea that fashion can be more than something beautiful, it can be wearable art that tells a story.
Inspired by the silk scarves my great-grandmother gifted me, I began creating hand-illustrated silk scarves that transform meaningful people, places, memories, and moments into wearable art. From custom wedding heirlooms and gifts celebrating the people we love to my GameDay Collection, each design is created to feel personal, expressive, and entirely unique.
I love finding the little details that make someone's story theirs—a favorite place, a beloved pet, a wedding flower, a team, a special date, or an inside joke—and turning those details into something they can keep for years to come.
As CRC continues to grow, I’m expanding beyond silk scarves into apparel and other forms of wearable art, bringing my illustrations and storytelling to more people while staying true to the craftsmanship and individuality at the heart of the brand.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: make wearable art to last generations and in places you'd least expect: like the ballpark:)
